We are a full service digital video production facility that will assist in any stage of the production process. Our theatre provides an excellent environment for production with professional lighting and sound, an intimate space with amenities courtesy of the Westport Coffeehouse. The theatre makes a perfect sound stage or even a great screening room. We have hosted a local television talk show; "Positive Profiles" weekly for 10 years. We are currently working on one short and one full-length digitally produced movies. Our facility provides for synchronization of video and sound. Our specialty is with cross-platform (Mac and PC) connectivity. We also provide web services and hosting complete with e-mail. Events can be broadcast over the internet and/or archived for 24 hour access.

On the video front, we use professional 3 chip cameras 2 DV (1 Canon XL1 and 1 Panasonic EZ1) and 1 Panasonic Supercam for gathering footage. These can either be switched "live" complete with graphics to Direct to disk (DV) with the help of a Fast "Video Machine". DVCam, Betacam SP or 3/4" tape is also available, or footage can be edited complete with analog or digital editing techniques. We also have a several editing systems which utilizes a firewire connection to keep all DV footage in the digital realm with no generation loss throughout the editing process. Using Avid Express ProHD with Mojo, Pinnacle Liquid Edition, Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Commotion, ect., the diversity and quality achieved by this process is phenomenal and is the format of choice by today's producers seeking professional video output. From there your footage can be transferred to film using any number of service bureaus, or back to DV (digital firewire connection) for transfer to all analog or digital formats including DVD.

For audio services (25 years experience), we provide top quality microphones ie: Shure, EV, Beyer, AKG, Audio Technica, Groove Tubes, ect. to give you the professional sound you know you need to make your project come alive. With Pro Tools, Nuendo, and Digital Performer on the Mac, and Cubase SX, SonarXL, Vegas, ect. on the PC, (see partial list of plug-ins below) 24+ tracks of 24 bit pristine audio, and Nemesys Gigastudio 160, all running through a Tascam DM-24 digital mixer with moving faders, your audio will have that mastering touch that makes the difference that everyone will hear. We also can burn CD's and provide assistance in all phases of graphic design and duplication. A Yamaha Grand piano is on site, with an array of top-notch keyboards. The owner Tom Ptacek is a musician and has played piano and guitar for app. 30 some years.
